This cake is very similar to the ice cream cake, but without the ice cream. I made a sheet cake, devils food cake, and covered in buttercream icing and put crushed oreo cookies on top.

Ice Cream Cake
This was my first attempt to make an ice cream cake for my husband's co-workers. So, I made a devils food cake with vanilla ice cream in the middle and regular buttercream icing. While decorating the cake, I had to put the cake in the freezer several times and wait.....patiently for the ice cream to harden.
